We visit Japan almost every year, so here I was, thinking of myself as a Japan travel expert. But oh, how kids can throw everything out the window! We recently braved 10 days in Japan with a 2 year old and a 4 months old. Are we crazy or what? Here are my top seven tips on how to visit Japan with a young family and keep your sanity!

It’s with a big grin on my face that I click “publish” on this blog post. It took me more than three months postpartum, but I FINALLY finished! This embroidered jacket is very special to me because it represents my two little girls. I wanted a way to show off their names and just how proud I am to be their mother. A tattoo came to mind, but I am just not cool enough to pull one off, so embroidery was the answer!
It’s been three months since Yuki was born, and I’m emerging from a zombie-like existence. She finally stopped waking up every two hours—what a relief! I even had six hours of sleep without disturbance this week. I’m a whole new person.
