Disclosure Policy
Sew in Love is a personal blog all about inspiring people to make something by hand. It truly is a labour of love, and it takes many hours for me to publish each blog post. I absolutely love researching, making and photographing beautiful handmade things for my blog, so I am so grateful to my readers who allow me to continue doing what I love.
I use affiliate links and advertising in this website which pays me a commission if you click and/or make a purchase. I also review products and do sponsored blog posts. Any compensation I receive from sponsors will not influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. I would never recommend a product I didn’t believe in to a friend, and it’s the same for my readers. On the other hand, if I find a sewing gadget that I absolutely love (and can’t live without), I promise to share it with you!

Web browser cookies and pixels
Our Site may use “cookies” and “pixels” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. We work with analytics service providers, advertising partners, and advertising networks that may have access to your device information but does not enable them to collect your name, contact details or other personal information unless you choose to provide this information. You can amend or “opt out” of the collection of any information through cookies or other tracking technology by actively managing the settings on your browser or mobile device. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
A pixel is a tiny piece of Java script code that we have incorporated into each of our web pages. This piece of code provides a series of functions for transmitting application-specific events and user-defined data to Facebook. We use custom audience pixels to record information about the way visitors use our website. For this reason, each of our web pages contains a custom audience pixel. This pixel records information about the user’s browser session, which it sends to Facebook, along with a hashed version of the Facebook ID and the URL viewed. Every Facebook user has a unique, device-independent Facebook ID that allows us to address and recognise users across a range of devices using the Facebook social network, so that we can address our visitors for commercial purposes using Facebook ads. The user information will be deleted after 180 days, until the user visits our website again. Facebook’s privacy policy can be found at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php and you can control your Facebook advertising preferences at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?
