When I was five years old, I dressed as a bride for halloween. When I went “trick or treating”, many people in my neighborhood gave me extra candy because I looked so beautiful. I would like to dress as a bride again. Maybe I would get extra drinks at the halloween parties!
My dream Halloween costume would be the Attack on Titans uniforms. I know that it’s a hard costume to put together. But it’s so cool.
My favorite costume is Lego policeman. It may not be ” beautiful” but it was lots of fun and got tons of attention! Best of all, I made it! 9
My dream costume would be one of the characters from Pokemon – any will do as I love them all!
My dream Halloween costume is a Victorian style masquerade costume. Ever since i saw a Victorian era movie,i have always wanted to wear one of those dresses, like what Juliet would wear. The details, design, basically everything about the dress is just gorgeous. Especially the mask they wear. I would die just to wear one of those outfits!
The best costumes for my family and me,
and I’m sure most people would be willing to agree,
Are ones created with patience and love,
to be worn with happiness (and fits like a glove)!
Ha ha Seriously though, I would LOVE for a Jane costume from Tarzan…you know that beautiful yellow dress she slowly destroys in the jungle.
My dream costume would probably be one of Vivaldi’s dresses from Alice in the country of hearts. She’s gorgeous and crazy and I can’t help but adore her.
My dream Halloween costume would be to dress up as a feminine Yoshimitsu from the Tekken/Soul Calibur video games. I would love the details and shapes of construction with his more traditional samurai style dress.
My dream Halloween costume would be the a princess…well not really an original dream but i have always like poofy dresses, i have always love the “kawaii” look and only on Halloween can we wear anything we want..but living in Malaysia, we don’t celebrate Halloween that much…so..it is literally just my dream costume 🙂
Well my dream costume right now is for myself and my family to be every evolution of one type of Pokemon. Probably Graninja.
I would actually love to cosplay as some anime characters. I have a few in mind that this book would help me achieve. By getting this book, I would be able to make the costumes that I need.
I would love to create the main cast from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” I’ve already created the Mayor costume but would love to take them all on. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
My dream costume would be a hybrid of Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell) + Liz Salander (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) + Tomoe Gozen’s samurai armour (which would justify me actually learning to /fashion/ armour plates and lace them, something I’ve been interested in for ages) + the distinctive face paint/head piece of Kamakura Gongoro in the kabuki play Shibaraku. The result would probably be something out of Cyberpunk nightmares, but it /would/ definitely be very, very interesting to put together, especially finding a way to get all the very separate styles into the right proportion.
my fave Halloween costume would have to be scary… It is Halloween after all 🙂
I think I’d love to be that super scary girl from the Japanese movie ‘the ring’… I’d have so much fun with the zombie like makeup and the jerky body movements… And those EYES…
My dream costume would be something like an Angele. But my dream is to have the littles enjoy dressing up so I make them their creations. I’m happiest when they are. Especially the oldest. She wants to be everybody
batman, lol, always wants to be him, but would love to try something different and unique!
My dream costume is a life size pumpkin! 🙂 I made a pumpkin costume when my children were very young and wore it when we Trick or Treated and when I answered the door for the children and families who visited our home. Years later I passed my pumpkin with the hat and shoe covers along to friends with small children. Now that I am retired, I need to make another pumpkin to surprise the neighborhood visitors. Over the years my costume introduced me to dozens of the neighborhood kids and families. We always invited the visitors in so we could meet everyone and give a small take home gift to each child. Even though I live 2,000 miles away now, I still get cards from many of those kids who are now parents and grandparents! What fun.it was! Happy Halloween!
I’m making the Dothraki version of Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones for Halloween this year, but my dream Halloween costume would be Asuka from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. To make that dream better, my husband would be my Eva. 🙂
my dream costume was Alice from Alice in Wonderland–with a fluffy and cute bunny backpack to carry my treats! hehe <3
What if I told you… I’d love to sew a The Matrix-style vampire.

Deja vu. Uh-oh, there’s a glitch in the system! And I vant to byte your neck!
Hi Rin! My dream costume is like a steampunk girl mixed with something like a cape like Assassins creed. A mix unbelievable and mysterious ’cause the game in Halloween is to seem like we are strangers, warriors and other kind of persons, like the persons in our dreams and hopes: people so strong, heroes in some level and this year I want to do something really incredible and awesome to my halloween costume. I love to sew and I like to practice while I’m in home so comfortable, it’s my favorite hobby ’cause it makes me feel like I can do everything, do so many things by myself. I learnt some things to sew from my mom when I was a little girl and I always think that sewing really exalt virtues like patience. So then that’s my answer and I really hope to win. Ps: I love your Youtube video tutorials, and congrats from latin America, in Colombia people always do everything with heart and soul. Have a nice and wonderful day.
i want to cosplay some cool halloween costume even though i created it bad or good sewing thats why i want itttttttt!!!!!!!!
I love the dresses in the new Cinderella. The white ones she wears with her mom in the beginning are lovely!
AHHH A DREAM HALLOWEEN COSTUME– Well, I would love to do something gore related but also sometimes something cutesy is what you want to do TT v TT So ah- I would really love to do something basically gore and cutesy related. Which to me seems amazing, like a doll or lolita girl but with gore or something to make it more creepy and intense for the halloween year.
BUT AHHH cosplay allows me to do more with costumes than just halloween so like- I could seriously go on for days talking about this stuff q v q
For halloween, it’s my best friend birthday too. I want to sew her a seifuku of Yukikaze for Kantai collection. I need this so that I can learn some technique for doing it.
What is your dream Halloween costume?
Ms Frizzle from the Magic School Bus because she taught children to look behind mysteries and find truth! And she has fabulous orange hair and can drive that crazy bus. 🙂 Love your videos and blogs.

My dream costume would be the Goblin King from the movie Labyrinth, what he wears during the ball/dream sequence. I’ve always liked his outfit more than the girl’s pretty dress lol.
This year I’ll probably do a duct-tape Death Star, seeing as I’ll be seven months pregnant by Halloween. If I had to choose something else, though, I’d like to do a post-series Yuki from School Live!/Gakkou Gurashi. (I’ve seen the anime, have not read the manga.)
My dream halloween costume would be like something with wings….
i totaly want to go out like a crow…
like some beautifull human bird…
just like Howl in the Gibli Movie.
I would love to make fluffi wings *_*
My dream costume for Halloween would be Juliet Starling from the Japanese video game Lollipop chainsaw. Not only would I look cute in my cheerleader costume, I also wouldn’t have to worry about all the zombies and monsters out there. With my chainsaw they’ll have to fear ! ^^
My Dream Halloween Costume would be like with black and red..
Like a Vampire with a cute dress and a Hoodie
with a cape.. and a hoodie
plus with a knee length puff skirt and a 3/4 long sleeve
I have a couple of favourite halloween costumes – Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas film – I made this myself which took forever, however as I was young, instead of sewing the costume fabric together I just painted the detail and block colours- which made it extra crispy to wear! My other favourite is a classic zombie American-Diner-Waitress – so much fun, although dangerous on roller-skates!
My dream cosplay is between Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica. I just love Homura, so since she’s my favorite character from Madoka Magica, I would love to make a Halloween costume for her
My dream costume would be a 1920’s flapper dress
My dream costume would be a wonder woman inspired costume.
My dream costume would be a cosplay of the girls’ outfits from the anime Love Live in the song ‘Yume no Tobira’. It’s a gorgeous shade of shimmery blue. I love how it looks and the characters from the show. I would also like to get a big group of people with costumes from Love Live together so we could learn the choreography from the show!
My dream costume that i want to make is a hastsune miku costume. I want to make the costume and the accessories. 😁
